Taking your taste buds on a journey across Asia, this week Yelp Glasgow brings you some of the best places to taste noodles. From Indonesian, to Chinese, Japanese to Malaysian you're sure to find the noodle to suit your mood!

Asia Style, 185 St Georges Road, Charing Cross Glasgow G3 6JD

Tom M recommends 'the bowl of three roast meat noodles in lovely broth. My companion had the Szechuan Chicken. The pancake come with a delightful satay style sauce and the noodle broth and roast meats was a huge serving!'

Banana Leaf, 67 Cambridge Street, Glasgow City Centre G3 6QX

Sampling the whole seabass with minced pork, coriander, ginger and chilli and a braised beef stewpot with fried noodles and coconut rice on the side, Kevin P says: 'It was all delicious!' The rice and noodles were well-cooked and plentiful - I would definitely advise only one between two of the noodles!'

Cherry & Heather, 7 North Gower Street, Glasgow South Side G51 1PW

Elizabeth F 'is always partial to the Singapore noodles but drooled lots over several of their gourmet sandwiches.' With an Indonesian flavour, you can get the noodles to dine in or takeaway.

Crazy Wok, 173 Dumbarton Road, Glasgow West End G11 6AA

Toby G raves about the noodles here and says 'their menu is extensive and they will go out of their way to make you anything that isn't on the menu. Our usual staples here are salt and pepper tofu and spicy Hong Kong noodles - these are thin, fresh and perfectly balanced with taste and vegetables!'

Ichiban Noodle Café, 184 Dumbarton Road, Glasgow West End G11 6UN

For 'guilt free fast food' Maureen M recommends a visit here. She went for the vegetables with udon noodles with a side of tempura.

Martha's, 142A St Vincent Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 5LQ

Joanne H says when you walk in 'you're greeted with a fragrant preview of the awesomeness to come. I settled on the noodle salad with added red dragon pork and salad dressing. 'Twas a generous serving of pork and overall a good-sized meal and so good I could have eaten it again!'

Rumours Kopitiam, 21 Bath Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 1HT

Wat Tan Ho. Or 'flat noodles in egg gravy'? I think I'll stick to the Malaysian name, thanks... Gillian L raves: 'This is what I've been looking for! A simple, clean little cafe serving noodles, rice dishes, soups - it's perfect. The staff were lovely, too, recommending my noodles and bringing them fast because I was in a hurry.'

Sapporo Teppanyaki, 2-6 Ingram Street, Merchant City G1 1HA

Sharon M went for 'teppanyaki cooked noodles, scallops and prawns, which was absolutely delicious - far too much scallop for me to eat, but absolutely brilliant.'

Seewoo, 29 Saracen Street, Glasgow G22 5HT

Looking for a huge assortment of Asian foods? Martyn M recommends the dry goods, frozen, seafood, noodles and spices. 'You will not find anything that matches this place till you hit London,' he says.

Tao Southside, 162 Kilmarnock Road, Glasgow South Side G41 3PG

Joseph P stopped by to check out this new addition to the South - 'the chicken satay, three skewers of chicken breast in a sweet, nutty and tangy sauce, is to die for. The prawn salt and chilli is amazing. The thin noodles super tasty and the rice not overly heavy!'
