Last weekend the celebs flocked to the red carpet for the Golden Globes, and while many fashionistas are checking out the gowns and bags - my eyes are always on their face (comes with the territory of being a makeup artist.) There were four looks in particular that I loved and thought would be relatively easy to recreate for someone doing their own makeup for a glam occasion. So here are some of my products and tips for Golden Globe inspired beauty.

Drew Barrymore - Hollywood Glow

Drew's look is amazing and easy to recreate. She looks healthy and beauitful - what more could you want?

For your base, use an illuminating primer and follow with a dewy foundation or bb cream. Try Bourjours Healthy Mix Radiance Foundation or Bobbi Brown BB cream. For the eyes, a dark nude matt eyeshadow, lined with a black gel liner and lashings of mascara will give you red carpet definition with minimal fuss.

Finish the look with a light pink blush and rose pink lips - Bobbi Brown have just released their Nude Glow collection and you'd find the right lipstick for this look there I reckon! A highlighter on the brow bone and high on the cheek bones will give you Drew's glow - Mac Skinfinish Mineralised Powder always works wonders for this.

Reese Witherspoon - Bronze Eyes

There were two trends I spotted at this year's Golden Globes - pink lips as worn by Drew and bronze eyes - spotted not only on Reese but on Alexa Chung and Kate Beckinsale too.

This look is so perfect on Reese as it's lovely for blue eyes - the colour makes them pop.

Start with a base like Mac Paintpot in the shade Painterly, add some Bobbi Brown in the shade Champagne Quartz to the inner eye lid, and then add on Bobbi Brown in Burnt Sugar to the outer corners, socket and lash line. Line the eyes, add your mascara and voila - bronze goddess.

Taylor Swift - Classic Red Lips

This look will never go out of trend. Keep your makeup pale and simple adding eyeliner and mascara to line the eyes.

Taylor's face is soft, pale and matt. To achieve this, stay away from bronzer and use a translucent finishing powder (loose is better) to mattify your face and give it that soft blurry look. Right now I love Mary Kay's loose translucent powder - it's a permanent fixture in my makeup bag and a good alternative to some pricier brands without sacrificing on quality.

Pick your favourite red lippy to mirror Taylor's look - personally I think if you stick to Mac Ruby Woo you can't go wrong!

Vanessa Hudgens - Sparkle Smoky Eyes

I love the look of smokey eyes and barely there lips, and it's quick and easy to get this look.

Add some Mac Paint Pot - try the shade Vintage Selection all over lid. Then line the top lash line, flicking up to outer corner of the eye, using Mac's Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner in the shade Black Swan. Use a brush and in circular motions blend the eyeliner in to the paint pot, focusing on the outer eye and lash line, and building up as much eyeliner as you need to get your desired smokey, sparkly effect. The Mac brush 217 is perfect for this, and if you like this look is one to invest in - there's a reason I have 3 of them!

Finish off with a pale lipstick to get this ultra glam look - Barry M, Gosh Cosmetics and Rimmel offer amazing nude shades at equally amazing prices.
