A GLASGOW couple have been given a taste of the high life - by helping to front a homes advertising campaign.

Ashleigh Howard and Stephen Cassidy were chosen from more than 100 entries to front the ads for Ogilvie Homes' studio and one-bedroomed apartments in Garnethill.

Their faces will now appear across the city on billboards, in press and other marketing materials.

During their VIP day out in the city they were given a makeover by celebrity hairdresser Taylor Ferguson, before being taken to the Almadine Apartments' show home for a photo session.

Ashleigh and Stephen, both in their early twenties, fit the ideal buyer profile for Ogilvie Homes' trendy new Hill Street development, next to Sauchiehall Street and close to Glasgow School Of Art and St Aloysius' College.

These apartments are designed to appeal to young professionals, students and those who want to be at the heart of the city centre.

Both the studio and one bedroom styles have spacious interiors that include fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances - stainless steel electric oven, gas hob, chimney-style extractor, fridge freezer and washer/dryer.

There are large bathrooms with an electric shower, while the one bedroom apartments have balconies that make the most of the elevated site to provide magnificent views across the city.

The flats also have ample storage space and secure entry systems.

Sharon McPhee, Ogilvie Homes' marketing manager, said: "It seemed natural to have real people to promote the flats."

Prices at Almadine Apartments start from just £89,950, but under the Scottish Government's Help To Buy scheme it is possible to own one of these homes for £49.94 per week with only a 5% deposit.

Buyers can also take advantage of a stylish furniture pack in a similar style to the show apartment.

The show apartment is open Thursday-Monday, 11am- 5.30pm. Or call 0141 332 1287 or Ogilvie Homes' head office on 01786 811811 for more details.
