OLDER readers often go misty eyed at the mention of the Glasgow Apollo; and no wonder.
Here's just a taste of what was on offer in 1975.
While rockers could wig-out to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rundgren and Queen, folk fans could enjoy the Dubliners, Steeleye Span, Tom Paxton and Fairport Convention.
Country fans were also well-served, with gigs by Tammy Wynette and Ray 'The Streak' Stevens, while Demis Roussos and Jack Jones kept the grannies happy. Scots stars Calum Kennedy and Lena Zavaroni also got a look in, as did US superstars the Carpenters, who played two sold-out shows in one night.
We're just sorry we missed Sparks and Roxy Music.
Even better, the priciest tickets were just £3, about £21.50 in today's money.
