THE foyer of the Lyceum in Govan was an Art Deco fan's dream.

The new cinema design was said to have been inspired by the Empire Exhibtion which took place at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park in 1938.

The building was put up in 1923, and began life as a music hall but was destroyed by fire in 1937.

After a spell as a cinema, it become a bingo hall in 1974,
