SCOTTISH fashion star Hayley Scanlan is coming to Glasgow with an exclusive pop-up shop.

The Dundee-born designer will take her new collection Love Me Tender to Debenhams' Argyle Street store from May 29 - June 2.

It comes after the success of Hayley's pop-up shop in Debenhams Dundee last year.

Love Me Tender is inspired by 90s cult classic film True Romance.

It features demure silhouettes, which are toughened up with masculine details, including bomber jackets and zips.

Hayley will also be in the Glasgow store each day offering one-on-one styling advice.

She said: "Alabama from True Romance is one of my fashion icons.

"I love her style in the movie and it's so exciting seeing that translate into my latest collection.

"The collection is really girly with a hard edge and it's definitely my favourite to date."

Craig Barker, store manager from Debenhams Glasgow, said: "Hayley's pop-up shop in the Dundee store was a great success and we can't wait to welcome her and her designs to the Argyle Street store.

"As one of the UK's most exciting young designers, Hayley will be the perfect addition to our already diverse fashion offering, giving our customers something fun, on-trend and unique that can't be found elsewhere in Glasgow.

"Debenhams is known for its collaborations with emerging and established design talent and we are delighted to be able to showcase Hayley's work in Glasgow".

Debenhams has been collaborating with British designers, including Henry Holland, Betty Jackson, Jasper Conran and Matthew Williamson, for 20 years.
