DENTAL nurse Jenna Smart has something new to smile about after winning a top style title.

The 26-year-old, from Linwood, won the intu shopping centre group's UK Style Hero contest at Braehead.

Earlier this month she was voted Braehead's most stylish shopper and Jenna went on as Scotland's representative to the national competition, which she also won.

She was voted the company's national Style Hero by the general public for her chic and fashionable look after competing against 12 other intu shopping centre winners from around the country.

As national Style Hero Jenna will be the face of a promotional campaign for intu UK malls, win a profesional photo shoot and a VIP trip to the Elite Model Look Grand Final.

She also wins £500 to spend on intu's website and a £500 gift card to spend at an intu centre of her choice.

Jenna's own style icons are American socialite, Olivia Palermo and singer, Mollie King (inset) from The Saturdays.

She said: "I keep a close eye on the magazines to see what people are wearing and what styles are up and coming, so I can keep ahead when it comes to what I wear.

"At the moment I'm into pastel shades and girly things like ruffles and high neck blouses.

"I didn't think I had a chance of winning as the standard of competition was very high. I can't thank enough the people who voted for me. I'll be using my prize to buy my summer wardrobe - some bikinis for holiday, kimonos, chunky sandals and beach jewellery.

"I'm also a guest at a wedding, so I'll get a nice dress for that and some accessories."

Into Braehead's assistant marketing manager, Christine Macdonald said: "As one of Scotland's most fashionable shopping destinations we've been on a quest to uncover people who show their authentic, original style.

"Jenna encapsulates all of these qualities and we are very proud that one of our shoppers has been awarded this fashion accolade.

"Street style has surged in popularity over the last few years and this campaign was an opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on our most creatively dressed shoppers.

"It is the gateway for everyday people to play a part in the fashion world and we can only hope that interest in street style continues to grow and more and more of our shoppers get inspired to put together looks they have never tried before."
