IT was a race to the finish line at the Drumwealth Games with more than 500 schoolchildren going for gold.
The second annual day of sport for pupils at Camstradden Primary, St Clare's Primary, Drummore School, Langfaulds Primary, Antonine Primary and Drumchapel High was voted a winner.
A total of 10 sports clubs held events at seven different venues around Drumchapel, all part of the Community Sport Hub.
From table tennis and rugby, to basketball, tae-kwando, football and gymnastics, the sessions put the youngsters through their paces, with the highlight of the day a closing ceremony at the Donald Dewar Centre.
The event was hosted in partnership with the SportScotland Community Sport Hub and Glasgow Life.
Stewart Harris, chief executive of SportScotland, said: "We are delighted to see this wonderful event taking place in Drumchapel, with so many different clubs coming together to celebrate sport throughout the area.
"It is fantastic to see Drumchapel embracing SportScotland's Community Sport Hub initiative - a key legacy component of Glasgow 2014."
