A Glasgow shopping centre has created a Love Vending Machine packed with surprise gifts ahead of Valentine's Day.
Shoppers who visit the Buchanan Galleries can pick up their own little surprise from the giant red vending machine from Thursday, February 11 to Saturday, February 13.
Unlike any other vending machine, the Love Machine, brings a little fun to Valentine’s shopping with a special gift or voucher unveiled at the pull of a lever. Shoppers who spend over £30 at participating stores will be gifted with an exclusive ‘Token of Love’ to use in the vending machine, located on the ground floor near John Lewis. The recipient simply pops the token in the slot and out comes a little gift.
Participating stores in this fun promotion include Mango, Warehouse, Oasis, Quiz, Ness, Arran Aromatics, Isle of Skye Candle Company, The Fragrance Shop, Trade Secret, Bibble and Fuel.
Left without a Token of Love? Fear not, as the Love Machine also accepts pound coins in exchange for a little sweet treat. Shoppers who donate money to the machine will be helping raise funds for local sick children as all money collected will be donated to Yorkhill’s Children’s Charity.
Buchanan Galleries centre manager Kathy Murdoch, said: “We wanted to make Valentine’s Day shopping fun for everyone and we’re sure Valentine’s shoppers are going to love our unique Vending Machine. After all it will give them a chance to treat themselves and not just their loved one this February 14th. ”
