All aboard for Cathcart– these days we’re all used to driver-only buses, but back in 1965 the idea was still a novelty after years of clippies and conductors. Hence the instructions on the front of the vehicle!
It’s the time of year for chocolate Easter eggs – and little fluffy chicks. Our picture today show youngster Joan Sim of Burnside back in 1952, looking a little nervous as she’s put in charge of no less than four of the tiny creatures.
