As with all things worthwhile a bit of preparation goes a long way.

If you want to look ‘festival fresh’ after three days camping and partying with 50,000 revelers in a muddy field - then your going to have to be smart about your preparation!

DAY 1. Two days before.

Treat your hair to a deluxe conditioning treatment. (RRI WORX/HAIR MASK). Leave in for at least 20 min's but the longer the better. This will leave your hair feeling REALLY soft - but don't panic, your hair needs the moisture to survive the festival. Have a hair buddy whom your sharing with or hooking up with during the festival. You both need to practice your festival plaits and pinning hair. A little effort now means no effort at the festival.

DAY 2. One day before.

Take an hour to yourself, visit your local salon and have a professional style dry. (If you’re one of the lucky ones who can style their own hair well then spend some time and make it BIG.) Big hair today means perfect hair tomorrow. Buy your hair products: Dust It, Spray on Shine and Indispensible Dry Shampoo.

DAY 3. FESTIVAL DAY 1.

All the hard work should now have your crowning glory looking Rock ‘n’ Roll ready. Resist the temptation of lots of hairspray, as this will definitely become gungky and unmanageable very quickly once the moisture of the dance tent gets to it. Tap some SCHWARZKOPF Dust It into the roots (less is more with this product) throw your hair over and shake it to revive the volume as the evening approaches. Spray a little shine spray to finish.

DAY 4. FESTIVAL DAY 2.

Wake up and brush that hair through, be vigorous, this gets rid of yesterdays product and makes it feel clean. Spray a little dry shampoo (less is more) and brush through your hair. ACCESORISE your hair. Hair bands or on trend hair scraves and dry shampoo cover up a multitude of sins. Don’t be afraid to dress your bouffant up. Big hairbands, flowery scarves or such just scream festival. So in a manner of speaking let your hair down!

Day 5: FESTIVAL DAY 3.

BIG PLEATS. This is where that hair buddy comes in handy. Quiffs, buns, pleats, high ponies and of course French pleats are all the rage this year. Don’t be left behind. A little dry shampoo, a squirt of perfume and a good brisk brush through should leave you feeling fresher. A handful of Kirby hairpins and a little work should leave your hair still looking cool.
