FROSTY weather and constant central heating play havoc with my already very dry skin.
I always opt for a richer moisturiser during the winter months and have tried a multitude but I always veer back to aromatherapy-based creams because of the mood-boosting effects of the essential oils.
The overall experience of using a skincare product is more important to me than fancy ingredients claiming they will knock ten years off your skin.
I love Neal's Yard products, even a visit to the store is enough to lift my spirits, so I'm keen to try their best selling moisturiser, Frankincense nourishing cream, which is targeted at dry and mature skin.
All their ingredients are ethically sourced from around the world and everything is vegan friendly and cruelty-free which is big plus for me.
The moisturiser contains rejuvenating frankincense and myrrh essential oils and claims to offer 24-hour moisturisation.
The aroma is calming and not overpowering and the consistency feels rich and comforting on my skin.
I combine it with a facial oil first for a double dose of hydration which seems to increase the absorption, leaving my skin ready to face the elements and I can still feel the moisture at the end of the working day.
Frankincense Nourishing Cream is priced £27.50 and available at www.nealsyardremedies.com
