Beauty Sleep Body Butter

A REFRESHING night's sleep is the holy grail and the beauty industry seems increasingly invested in making products that promise a deep sleep.

Neal’s Yard Remedies, famed for its organic products, has created its Beauty Sleep range for just this reason.

Beauty Sleep Body Butter certainly smells relaxing. It's smells phenomenal, actually. No hint of synthetic lavendar here.

The scent is light but soothing and certainly seems promising for inducing sleep.

A rich, thick texture melts very quickly into the skin and leaves no residue - quite a feat for such a seemingly heavy butter.

With a nourishing organic shea and cocoa butter base, the body butter also contains Ylang Ylang and Patchouli essential oils, chosen for their sleep inducing properties.

Claims for these oils also include the ability to aid relaxation and ease anxiety.

I like that the balm doesn't take forever to rub in and that it leaves no residue on the skin to transfer to pyjamas.

The smell is glorious and it's certainly a soothing pre-bed ritual to smooth it on while take a few deep breaths of the scent.

I can't say that it made me sleep better but it's a lovely product and superior to similar offerings currently on the market.

Beauty Sleep Concentrate

Serums and I usually don't get on. They're either too thin and watery, and leave my skin feeling dry, or they do the opposite. Many times I've had oily, greasy, flaky skin and spots due to a new serum I've splashed out on at payday.

Neil's Yard's new Beauty Sleep Concentrate though is none of those things. It smells incredible, almost like you've just come out of a spa. And after a week of use, my face feels soft, not oily/dry/flaky and the best it has been in a while.

It's also perfect for the recent bought of freezing weather, when your skin tends to need more moisture. A definite treat that any mums would be delighted to have, I'm sure.

Beauty Sleep Bath Milk

I TRY this at the end of a tiring day at work when the weather is so cold it seems to seep right into the bones.

As soon as I swirl the bath milk into the hot water, I can feel the aromatherapy oils soothing away the stresses of the day.

It's a blend of pure ylang ylang, patchouli and cypress essential oils which are supposed to help calm and unwind the mind.

Once submerged, the milk isn't quite as fragrant as I would like in a bath product and I can't resist adding a few more drops to really get the benefit of the  oils.
