FINDING a fragrance for the home that isn't overpowering or too subtle to be noticed can be tricky.
Diffusers, I find, are the best way to achieve this because you can add or remove the reeds the get the fragrance just right.
They can be on the pricey side but last a long time and I'm happy to pay a little more for a natural product.
Voya produce seaweed-based organic skincare products as well as a range for the home.
The business started out as the family-run seaweed baths run by Neil Walton near his home in Strandhill, County Sligo in the Atlantic coast of Ireland.
I've chosen the cedarwood and bergamot because I want an uplifting scent that isn't too sweet. It also contains refreshing eucalyptus, patchouli and rosewood which creates a warm, woody, calming aroma.
I put mine in the hall and place a couple of reeds on the radiators of the other rooms to carry the lovely fragrance.
My only criticism. A plea to the diffuser industry, please make it easier to open them. I wrestled with the stopper and gave up several times before I resorted to Google and learned that a corkscrew is the best way.
Bergamot and Cedarwood diffuser, £38.
