Liz Earl is always a go-to for me, usually when I get fed up of the latest fad in skincare and just want something I can rely on. This moisturiser never lets me down, and despite having fairly oily skin, doesn’t lead to breakouts of extra shine throughout the day. It smells incredible – botanical and natural - and leaves my skin plump and hydrated. It lasts forever too, with only a small amount needed in the morning and night.
The natural ingredients – borage oil, Echinacea, hops, avocado oil and vitamin E – make it less likely to cause reactions in people with sensitive skin and leaves you feeling fresh.
The consistency is half way between a typical ‘light’ moisturiser for oily skin (basically watered down regular moisturiser) and your hard-core cold cream. It absorbs quickly, allowing you to move straight on to applying your morning makeup without having to wait around. There’s a reason this product is a staple in so many women’s bathroom cupboards – it’s reliable, well-priced and provides great results.
