To contour or not to contour that is the question.
I've always steered clear of it as I feared I might end up looking like an Indian chief.
I've always stuck with a bit of bronzer or highlighter. But how hard can this be.
Enter Benefit Hoola quickie contour stick - it seemed to look pretty straight forward so I thought I would give it a go.
There's handy advice on where to put it and how to apply with illustrations - thank goodness.
So I locked myself away in the bathroom. The anxiety was building and my nerves were getting the better of me all for a contour stick.
My first few attempts were a bit too heavy handed, but I think I got the hang of it.
Two stripes down the side of the cheekbones and two along the side of my nose and that was me done.
I didn't really noticing a slimmer face, but it certainly gave me a health glow. The soft bronze colour did blend in easily.
I walked into work and wondered if anyone would notice.
And indeed a colleague did say 'you look different today.' That'll be the contouring effect I replied.
While, I might not look as good as Kim Kardashian, I feel a bit more confident about contouring with Hoola and certainly have a few more tools in my armour to face the world every morning.
