Nestlé Japan has released a Kit Kat filled with chocolate cake.
The Gateau Mignon Kit Kat contains a piece of fondant cake surrounded by signature Nestlé chocolate. A box of three will cost customers 1,458 yen (£10).

The special snack was crafted by pastry chef Yasumasa Takagi to celebrate the reopening of Kit Kat’s flagship Chocolatory boutique in Tokyo’s Ginza district.
The recipe is so complex it took him a year to perfect, according to Sora News24.

This latest creation builds on the experimental nature of Kit Kats in Japan, including sake, blueberry cheesecake and baked potato flavours, but takes it to a whole new level of luxury.

Unfortunately for Brits, this delicious snack isn’t available in the UK. We’ll just have to stick to Kit Kat Chunky and hope for cake filled chocolate bars to eventually catch on over here.
