We Weegies can’t resist a good scran, and lucky students across the city are being given the chance to get their chops around one of the their most popular dishes.

To help with the freshers hangover, Glasgow’s three Wagamamas are offering chicken katsu curries on Thursday, September 28 (tomorrow) - free of charge.

The move is celebrating National Katsu Day (we know, right?) which has been declared by the popular Japanese food chain.

The eateries in the city centre, Silverburn, and Glasgow Fort are all taking part.

All you need to do is watch Katsumama whip up Wagamama’s much sought-after hangover remedy (above), and then be one of the first 50 students to show up with valid ID to a restaurant near you.

The offer is on a first-come, first-served basis, so one they’re gone, they’re gone.
