Scotland’s very first restaurant dedicated entirely to avocados is set to open in Glasgow next month.
The Evening Times first reported the exciting news in August which our readers went berserk over.
This week, though, the team at Avo Avo have revealed works are well underway for the big opening in around four weeks’ time.
The restaurant will be based in Finnieston at 946 Argyle Street where contractors are hard at work to get the place looking very ‘West End’.
Upon opening, the eatery will be serving up - among other things - avocado smoothies, burgers, and ice-cream.

Management has already launched a competition for four people to win a table on the opening night.
Head on over to the @avoavoglasgow Facebook page for all the details on how to enter.
The winner will be announced October 19.
