A POPULAR baker is opening a new shop in the city creating 25 jobs in the process.
Greggs now has a unit within Glasgow's Buchanan Galleries.
The bakery chain also has several other city centre stores including branches in the St Enoch's Centre, Sauchiehall Street and George Square.
The new store also has seating available for customers who want to sit in.
Mary Beveridge, shop manager at Greggs Buchanan Galleries, said: “I’m very proud to be managing this new shop and the shop team are looking forward to hearing what the local community think.”
Roisin Currie, retail director for Greggs, added: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Glasgow and provide our valued customers with a modern and convenient new shop.
"We hope our new and existing customers enjoy the wide range of products on offer, whether they’re grabbing a hot cup of coffee, a freshly-made sandwich or a delicious savoury or sweet treat.”
Shop opening times are 8:30am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday, 8:30am to 8pm on Thursday and 9:30am to 6pm on Sunday.
