Santa Claus sleighed into town this week along with Mrs Claus to get a sartorial makeover at Silverburn.

The pair took time out of their busy Christmas schedule donning their traditional attire before being decked out in a modern day costume from leading brands in the shopping centre.

With the help of local fashion stylist Tatyana Bugayeva, Santa traded his over-sized red suit and boots for a more fitting and modern style for an evening celebration, including; a jumper from Next, trousers from Topman and a blazer from Debenhams.

Mrs Claus' makeover included a coat from John Rocha and a bag from Debenhams. Tatyana Bugayeva, who runs the popular LaFokta lifestyle blog, said: "Red is definitely the colour for the season with various shades, from scarlet to deep burgundy, appearing at international fashion weeks.

"Silverburn offers a fantastic selection of both men's and women's fashion and the shops are brimming with red clothing and accessories so shoppers can easily get the look for themselves."
