PLANS have been submitted for a take-away in Glasgow's East End.
Permission Homes have asked the city council for permission to use a vacant unit as a hot-food takeaway in Garthamlock's Redcastle Square.
The site is near the popular GESH community facility which is often a host for Evening Times Community Champions events.
The housing developers, however, said in a letter to the local authority that they do not have a tenant yet for the proposed take-away.
A decision on the plans is expected to be made by city planners next month.
