ICE hockey stars are pledging their support for our Opt for Life transplant campaign.
On Saturday, a message will flash onto screens at Braehead Arena during the match between The Braehead Clan and the Hull Stingrays urging fans to sign the organ donation register and back our campaign for an opt-out organ transplant system.
The Evening Times wants the Scottish Government to follow Wales' lead and switch to a 'soft' opt-out system to help save more lives.
Charities believe the system would better reflect the wishes of the majority, whilst giving those who do not wish to donate their organs, for the first time in law, the right to opt-out.
