The stars of musical production Grease, which is currently on at the King's Theatre, ran in Bellahouston Park in readiness for the Bupa Great Women's 10K on May 11.

Every year the event draws thousands of women to take part in the race on Glasgow's South Side.

Andy Mitchelmore, from organiser's Nova International, said: "The Bupa Great Women's 10K is a fantastic event and with six weeks to go there is plenty of time to sign up, get training and be part of it.

"It is amazing to see so many women running together as well as all the spectators who come out to cheer everyone on along the route.

"We will watch out for the Pink Ladies on May 11. Hopefully there will be some T-Birds waiting to cheer them over the finish line."
