Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘Pillow Talk’ lipstick has been described as the ‘holy grail’ for perfecting the nude lip.

This isn’t far from the truth.

The nudey pink shade is a popular and go-to choice for lipstick fans as it mimics and enhances the natural lip colour and can also be used to make the lips appear plumper.

It’s ideal for basically any occasion - hence why I have more nude lipsticks at home than I’ll probably ever need or use.

With a brand like Charlotte Tilbury, you can expect something special and won’t be disappointed.

Pillow Talk ticks all the boxes for me because it’s matte and non-drying (there’s nothing worse than feeling like your lips are going to shrivel up and fall off on a night out).

Unlike its rivals, it has a square-tipped bullet, which is ideal for those less inclined to use lip liner.

Charlotte herself has said that it’s ultra hydrating formula “creates the illusion of lit-from-within lips that appear wider and fuller”.

While I’m not sure how they appear to others, to me, my lips pretty much looked the same after application which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Since first trying the product, I’ve been persuaded to move away from my favourite MAC to 'Pillow Talk' from time to time, which is no easy feat.

Pillow Talk is available online from £24 RRP.

Four stars.
