June: Katie Holmes

July: Emma Stone

August: Taylor Swift

It was the outfit in which she accepted an MTV Video music award this year and, while most stars did the long designer gown thing, Taylor looked sensational in a sequin houndstooth two-piece with killer metallic heels.

September: Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

Cheryl was so on trend in her velvet gown at the Pride of Britain Awards. It was the perfect choice for an autumn night.

October: Kate Middleton

The Spectre world premiere in London was packed with stars in stunning designer gowns, but when the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in this blue Jenny Packham dress with an elegant open back, no one could stop talking about it.

November: Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman rocked a delicate lace dress with a bird motif at the Evening Standard’s Theatre Awards where she picked up an award for her part as Rosalind Franklin in Photograph 51. The elegant high neck line and sweeping updo complete the look.
