Former Corrie star Michelle Keegan split opinion at the National Television Awards with a blue and black dress that, despite flaunting her cleavage and impressive abs, was distinctly shapeless.

She posed for a selfie before the show on Instagram which gave a sneak peek of the elaborate lace and winged back to her top, but front on, it failed to impress.

She posed alongside husband and ex-Towie star Mark Wright as the awards show red carpet kicked off.

The duo had at least colour co-ordinated their efforts, but it was a fail for the usually sartorially-successful actress.

She wasn’t the only star who was a fan of the blue and black trend as Mark’s sister Jess Wright flashed a cerulean lining to her thigh-high split gown.

Meanwhile former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Philips put her best foot forward in a bespoke “living” dress made from real flowers with homeopathic remedies.
