When it comes to understanding how real women feel about their bodies, no one gets it better than Gok Wan.

The TV stylist has long been inspiring women to make the most of what they’ve got, no matter what their body shape.

And this focus on self-confidence is apparent throughout his summer collection for Tu at Sainsbury’s, which is all about accentuating the positives.

The collection, which hit stores yesterday, takes a step back in time to the 1970s, and features kaleidoscopic prints on halterneck maxi dresses, palazzo pants, culottes and wrap around gowns to create feminine but cool silhouettes for all shapes and sizes.

The colour palette, meanwhile, mixes mint, white various hues to blue to gorgeous effect.

And with prices starting at just £10, this is a breezy collection that won’t break the bank.

“Summer is a time when ladies can start really showing off their wonderful figures, so I wanted to design a collection which accentuated everyone’s best assets in a fun and flirty way,” said Gok.

“I have taken a risk and included some pretty daring cuts, prints and colours but I am really proud of the results."

The full Gok 24 range comprises 36 styles and comes in sizes 8 – 22. Available in larger Sainsbury’s stores and online at www.tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk
