Verdict: Four stars of satisfaction

MY hair always attracts lots of positive comments and I am very lucky to have thick shiny hair which is easy to style.

The only downfall is - my hair is a lot of work.

I have cut my hair short, I have had it medium length and I have settled for a longer length for now.

Regardless of length, it always takes around an hour to blow dry - I swear my hair retains water.

For that reason, I am always up for trying a new brush. One that does not break my hair or injure my arm with the motion of blow drying.

Hairdresser John Gillespie has designed the ARCONIC paddle brush which I am convinced was made for me.

The brush aims to dry and smooth large sections of the hair quickly which is ideal for my barnett.

Glasgow Times:

The brush has curve which allows you to lift the hair and create much-needed volume.

I have to say I am very particular about my brushes and now I have used this I have to say it is one of my favourites.

I judge a brush based on whether I need to straighten my hair after the blow dry and for this brush I didn't.

This brush is strong, it glides through my hair and it gives me the look I want.

It costs £19.99 and you can buy it here
