STYLISTS from Rainbow Room International were top of the chops at Glasgow Caledonian University's Fashion Show.

The hairdressers were honoured to be asked by the I'll Be Your Mirror team to work their magic backstage.

The event, held on Wednesday, showcased the innovative work of the students on the International Fashion Business programme.

Led by award-winning Dylan Brittain, who was crowned Scottish Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards 2017 alongside Suzie McGill, the artistic team helped to enhance the final catwalk model looks.

The team's brief for the show was 90s grunge hair and they were provided with mood boards to give them ideas of the looks the students wanted to create for the show.

The team provided the female models with grungy, undone, textured locks with a slight wet look to them and the male models with the same grungy finished looks that were squared off at the front.

Megan Deigan, artistic team member and designer stylist at Rainbow Room International’s Bearsden salon, said: "We were thrilled to be asked to do the hair for the models at the Glasgow Caledonian University Fashion Show. As well as being fun, these opportunities are great to get our Rainbow Room International brand name out there and show us as Glasgow’s leading hairdressers."
