WHEN Kim Kardashian married Kanye West recently in a star-studded ceremony in Florence, who knew that her make-up kit cost just £150?

The US reality television star who splashed out an estimated $12 million on the extravaganza saved a few pennies when it came to creating her look, which included mainly products from cult brand Urban Decay.

For any brides-to-be who want to recreate Kim's look, Barbara-Ann Gorman, account manager for Urban Decay at Debenhams in Argyle Street, Glasgow, the only stockist of the brand in the city, offers a few tips.

"We teach girls how to do their own make up on the big day," says Barbara-Ann, as she preps model Nicole McCubbin's skin. "And we get a lot who want to learn how to contour like Kim. It's her signature look."

As used by make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic on Kim, Barbara-Ann applied Eyeshadow Primer Potion to even out skin tone. With a matt finish, it also stops eyeshadow from creasing.

Then Barbara-Ann brushed a stroke of base colour Strange from the Naked 3 palette all over the eye, and added definition with Nooner from the same palette in the outer corner and along the crease, creating an angle at the corner of the eye and blending it well.

Next came Dark Side on the outer corner of each eye, then Barbara-Ann buffed all together with a fluffy brush. "Buffing and blending is important to soften the look," she says.

From the Naked Basics palette, black Crave was dotted on the corners to give more depth. And highlighter shade Venus was brushed under the eyebrow and dotted in the inner corners of the eyes.

Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion was slicked along the top of the lid to create a sharp line.

Then Barbara-Ann used 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Smog to define under the eye. To finish the eye, 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion was applied to the outer corner and water line.

Lashes get a couple of coats of Big Fatty Mascara for volume.

The Brow Box, including eyebrow powder, wax and tools, make brows longer and thicker looking. With a finger, the wax was smoothed along the brow to waterproof the colour.

"Use cleanser now under the eyes to pick up drops of eyeshadow," says Barbara-Ann. "This is the time to sweep up at the side for a clean line."

Before applying foundation, Barbara-Ann spritzed Nicole's face with b6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray to hydrate skin. Then she used Naked Skin Illuminating Beauty Balm as a primer.

"Apply with the optical blurring foundation finish brush to give a luminous glow," says Barbara-Ann.

Naked Skin Foundation offers medium buildable coverage and has anti-ageing and light-diffusing properties. Just two pumps on to the brush should do the full face. If you want to contour, use one shade darker than normal.

To get Kim's contoured look, use the 24/7 Concealer Pencil, containing micro-filling spheres.

"Use light and dark colours to contour," says Barbara-Ann. "Add the light colour on the centre of the face and the dark where you want to bring in the cheeks or narrow the nose.

"Use a blending brush on darker colour to buff and blend in and a foundation brush for lighter colours to define the shape of the face."

Pat on Naked Skin Ultra-Definition Loose Finishing Powder on the t-zone and down to the décolleté. Then use the Naked Flushed palette with its bronzer, highlighter and blusher.

For a natural lip, Barbara-Ann stroked on lipstick and a dot of Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss in Walk of Shame.
