DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

My style is like an afternoon tea party at your gran's, with Nirvana playing and Spice Girls on backing vocals!

I wear a lot of vintage clothing from all different eras and style them with classic key pieces from high street shops and of course always my Dr Martens!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE

HIGH STREET SHOP?

I can't choose just one! I buy all of my basics like jeans and T-shirts from Topshop.

I love their Joni jeans and ribbed crop tops. For dresses and jackets, I always go to Zara.

WHO'S YOUR FAVOURITE

DESIGNER?

I love Unif. They have a really cool, effortlessly sexy take on the 90s grunge trend.

I am desperate for a pair of their black leather Hellbound boots.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE GLASGOW SHOP?

I would have to say Mr Ben retro clothing. It is such a cute little shop with so much packed into it.

Not long after I started working in Glasgow, I went shopping to Mr Ben on my lunch break and came back with this dress that can only be described as a Victorian theatre costume crossed with Little House on the Prairie.

When I showed it to my colleagues it, they all thought it was the worst thing they had ever seen! To this day, it's still the coolest thing I own.

WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST

BARGAIN?

I once found a black and gold Moschino belt in a charity shop for a fiver! I spotted it just as the sales assistant was putting it out. Couldn't believe my luck.

WHOSE STYLE DO YOU ADMIRE?

I love the model and fashion blogger, Hanna Beth. I would kill for her wardrobe. http://hannabeth.buzznet.com/

ANY FASHION DISASTERS?

Yes loads...I went through a 'scene kid' phase as a teenager and used to have ridiculous back-combed, neon green and black hair.

Around this time I was quite a fan of wearing odd converse, neon leg warmers and stupid Hello Kitty T-shirts. It was a terrible look.

HOW HAS YOUR STYLE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS?

It has gone from one extreme to the other. I used to rock a sick Kappa tracky, Nike Airmax and name chain.

That was soon ditched for the band T-shirts, skinny jeans and studded belt.

I still have hints of both of these styles in how I dress now, but it's a lot less intense.

WHAT ITEM FROM YOUR

WARDROBE CAN YOU NOT

LIVE WITHOUT?

Aside from my collection of 1461 Dr Martens shoes which I wear almost every day, I would have to say my black skinny Joni jeans from Topshop.

I always struggled to find jeans that fit me properly but as these have a high waist, they are so flattering. I now have them in three colours.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM IN YOUR WARDROBE?

My oxblood Dr Martens 'Crafted' collection Arabella shoes - they are Made-in-England faux croc leather print loafers with Swarovski crystal details on the tassels. Beautiful and more comfortable than slippers.

MOST RECENT PURCHASE?

I bought a silk navy camisole style dress, above, with a ultra low cut back from Zara to wear to The Scot Street Style Gathering 3.

This was just after I got my back tattooed and everything I owned rubbed against my skin.

So I really had to buy the dress - or at least that's what I kept telling myself.

WHAT'S ON YOUR SHOPPING LIST FOR SPRING SUMMER?

This year I have been eyeing up a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers for quite a while now. I am also in love with the new Noose Harrington that Skull and Bones Boys Club have just brought out.

ARE YOU A HOARDER

OR OFFLOADER?

100% hoarder. I rent a two-bedroom flat so that I have the second bedroom as a walk-in wardrobe.

I did not regret that decision at all! Despite the luxury of having a whole room for clothes, my Dr Martens collection is getting out of hand, with well over 30 pairs spilling out into my hallway.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF STYLE

IN GLASGOW?

It's very creative. People aren't scared to wear something quirky and different.

SHARE A STYLE SECRET

Believe me, a classic black 1461 Dr. Martens shoe can be worn with any outfit.
