Kardashians star Kendall Jenner, 19, has been hitting the catwalk all over the globe for a year now - but she has just been announced as the face of American brand Calvin Klein.

After working for iconic brands like Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and Balmain - she has recently been signed to represent the #mycalvins denim series, the limited edition, logo-driven range which has taken Instagram by storm.

She told WWD: "It's really exciting. Honestly, it has been my dream to be able to do something like that. Calvin Klein's ad campaigns have always been so memorable."

She added: "Being a Calvin Klein model is something that I've always dreamed of and it's incredible to follow such major models like Kate Moss, Christy Turlington and Lara Stone. It's just an awesome brand to be a part of and I'm super excited."

Kendall has been a fan of the brand for a while, and posted a photo of herself in Calvin Klein underwear on her Instagram last March.

As part of the new campaign, her face will be splashed across billboards in the United States, print magazines, digital adverts as well as social media - where the #mycalvins campaign went from strength to strength in the first place.

Melisa Goldie, chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein Inc, said: "Kendall is a modern beauty who brings her youthful spirit and edge to this special Calvin Klein Jeans business.

"Kendall's powerful fan base and global reach will further amplify the current cultural conversation surrounding the Calvin Klein Jeans brand and highlight this exciting limited edition."
