WHEN superstar Rihanna launched her latest high street collection she showed she was still on a mission to shock.

The 25-year-old was working the frost-bite look with bright blue lipstick paired with a mullet.

And her new autumn/winter range for chain River Island, which was launched in London earlier this week, mimics the singer's shocking style.

Following on from the success of the spring/summer line, the new range was developed to reflect Rihanna's evolving distinctive look that is echoed by style tribes across the world.

The 80-piece collection incorporates a mix of urban sports lux with sophisticated chic and there is a strong emphasis on clean yet glamorous dressing, with a nod to streamlined sportswear.

The singer was influenced by the catwalks, with metallic, tartan, camouflage, floral, stripes, denim leathers and other high shine fabrics like vinyl and wet look used cohesively.

Soft jersey maxi's, leather bra tops, bomber jackets, camouflage over the knee boots, mesh dresses, beanies, cropped hoodies and underwear complete the range.

Prices range from £10 for the Riri Underwear to £200 for the embossed leather jackets.

The autumn collection went on sale yesterday, while the more glamorous winter collection will filter into shops in November.

Rihanna said: "I can't wait for the fashion press and my fans to see my AW13 collection for River Island.

"I want to wear everything now and that's such a great feeling."
