SPRING has most definitely sprung in the world of fragrance with a host of launches to offer the perfect olfactory treat.

Can't decide what one to go for? In the quest to find the perfect perfume, many brands are now offering collections with a choice of offerings.

Jo Malone London Blue Skies & Blossoms range, £86 each, is a selection of three scents celebrating the arrival of spring.

Choose from Sakura Cherry Blossom, a delicate floral scent with notes of rose and bergamot; Osmanthus Blossom, peach notes layered with petigrain; and Plum Blossom featuring juicy yellow plum.

Meanwhile, the Jo Malone London Rock the Ages collection, £42 each, has a scent for everyone. Cleverly tapping into British history there are five fragrances to choose from, each bottle finished with a fabric wrap.

Rich and sumptuous, Tudor Rose & Amber features clove and ginger. Lily of the Valley & Ivy harks back to the Georgian period with sparkling cassis and decadent narcissus. Old favourite Pomegranate Noir is a nod to the Victorian era with pink pepper and heady Casablanca lily.

Clean and crisp Geranium & Verbena is a reminder of elegant Edwardian summers. While the contemporary Birch & Black Pepper has cardamom and smoky birch.

On counter this month is the limited edition DKNY Delicious Delights Collection, £37 each, inspired by sweet sorbets. They smell good enough to eat.

Fruity Rooty is a blend of blackberry and mandarin with rose petals and violet flower. Dreamsicle mixes green apple with peach nectar and cedarwood. And Cool Swirl has coconut water and jasmine with patchouli.

Looking for a more sophisticated scent? Try Clinique Aromatics in White, £50. It opens with violet leaf and Sichuan pepper, blending into rose water essential and orange flower with bottom notes of amber gris and skin musk.

Liz Earle Botanical No 100, £47 from www.lizearle.com, was originally launched as a limited edition two years ago. Due to popular demand, the fresh floral scent is here to stay.

Rose-scented geranium, orange flower and Indian jasmine melt into bourbon vanilla, mandarin and bergamot. It smells like a florist shop.
