In New York, Proenza Schouler, which gave a nod to the traditional for spring/summer 2015, sent nearly every single model down the catwalk with a quirky bag.

The high street has followed closely and is offering an extensive range of classic and more unusual handbags.

Oliver Bonas, which has a store in Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow, has become an emporium for gifts and eclectic dresses. But it is there handbags that we're after this spring.
