GREAT British Bake-Off star Mel Giedroyc is urging Glasgow residents to hold a tea party for charity.
The presenter is backing Marie Curie Cancer Care as part of its Blooming Great Tea Parties fundraising drive.
The money raised from the tea parties will help cancer nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.
Mel said: "Hosting a tea party is a fantastic national tradition and I can think of no better way of raising money for a good cause than holding a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie Cancer Care."
Tea parties should be held between 20-29 June.
