JUDGES served up a treat for charity chiefs who run hospital cafes.
They awarded gongs for the healthy living choices made available to customers such as soup with reduced salt and sandwiches made from brown bread.
A clutch of 23 awards were won by the Royal Voluntary Service in NHS Scotland's Healthy Living Awards.
Cafes at three Glasgow hospitals were among the winners.Gartnavel General and the Victoria Infirmary each won an award as did three cafes in the South General.
Cafes at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Inverclyde Royal in Greenock, and Monklands General in Airdrie also won.
