In celebration of Great British Beef week, a Glasgow restaurant has taken a novel approach to meat by offering a reconciliation service for friends who have 'beef' with one another.
Until May 3, the Grill Room at 29 will provide a counselling hotline whereby those looking to bury the hatchet can book a make-up meal with the steakhouse which is offering two-for-one on steak frites.
The 29 Glasgow's hotline helper can be contacted on 0141 225 5615 from 10am to 9pm and will book the best table in the house plus offer a slew of helpful tips including how to open communications and acknowledging the problem.
Head of Events 29, Michelle Mooney Bergson, said: "Over Great British Beef Week we are urging Scots to leave the beef to us, after all it is our award winning speciality. The week long reconcilement service aims to help Scots extend the olive branch with your guest's steak frites being served on the house."
