The most traditional Scottish delight of them all, haggis is a dining out staple in Glasgow. This week Yelp Glasgow brings you a selection of places to try haggis, whether it's served traditionally or with a twist...

Arisaig, 1 Merchant Square, Glasgow G1 1NY

Haggis features in a whopping four dishes on the a la carte menu here, ranging from a starter of puddings (black, white and haggis with clapshot) to chicken filled with haggis or alongside a fillet of beef. Yelpers describe the menu as "a gorgeous fulfillment of Scottish delicacies".

Battlefield Rest, 55 Battlefield Road, Glasgow G42 9JL

This South Side Italian restaurant may not be your first thought for finding haggis, but with haggis cannelloni on the menu, you're in for a treat. Said a Yelper: "Chicken stuffed with haggis in asparagus sauce may not sound too Italian, but trust me once you've feasted upon it you won't care!"

Cafe Gandolfi, 64 Albion Street, Glasgow G1 1NY

Serving up the ultra-traditional haggis, neeps and tatties this Glasgow institution has been described as "scrumptious and delightful". Gandolfi has "delectable European cuisine using the best fresh Scottish ingredients" and provide an "intimate setting perfect for a friendly catch up".

Ingram Wynd, 58 Ingram Street, Glasgow G1 1EX

If you were so inclined, you could have haggis as a starter and a main course at this place...try breaded haggis for something a little different followed by haggis and smoked bacon risotto! It also features vegetarian haggis option as a main.

Nakodar Grill, 13 Annfield Place, Dennistoun, G31 2NF

Want to try a different style of haggis? How about haggis pakora? The bite-sized haggis treats are described as "delish!" This restaurant is also a takeaway, so you can get your pakora on the go if required.

Stravaigin, 28 Gibson Street, Glasgow G12 8NX

You don't need to be a haggis expert to know that if it's "spicy, moist and damn tasty with a nice texture" then it's a good one! Many Yelpers have had their first taste of haggis here, and can see why Stravaigin wins all those awards. They do a mean veggie haggis too.

The Sisters, 36 Kelvingrove Street, Glasgow G3 7SA

Dingwall haggis tatties are dished up as a side to a Scottish chicken breast at this Kelvingrove restaurant. There's also a starter option of a vegetarian haggis with Scotch egg, basil sauce and crispy onions.

The Universal, 57 Sauchiehall Lane, Glasgow G2 4AB

This somewhat hard to find pub has a few haggis options, including the intriguing haggis nachos, served with jalapenos, grilled cheese, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. It's also "a great bar for grabbing a few quiet drinks at affordable prices".

Ubiquitous Chip, 8 Ashton Lane, Glasgow G12 8SJ

Serving venison haggis since 1971 alongside champit tatties, carrot crisp and turnip cream, Yelpers describe it as "soft and succulent" and "melt in your mouth". Vegetarian option in this starter is also available.

Where The Monkey Sleeps, 182 West Regent Street, Glasgow G2 4RU

Haggis on a bagel? Seems like an unlikely pairing, until the rest of the toppings are revealed. The Meathammer is haggis, chorizo, cheese and red onion marmalade, or you can opt for no chorizo on the 'Thar She Blows!'
