Ingram Street just got a whole lot sweeter with a new ice cream parlour on the block.

Jellybear serves up sundaes, deli food and cakes in an atmospheric setting -grey exposed brick and dark wood panels as a backdrop to hot pink furniture and 80s neon lighting.

But the Glasgow cafe wants to do things a little differently.

It is promoting its Business Bear feature - offering free printing, scanning and WiFi to customers.

The shop will also stay open until 10pm to satisfy that late night sweet tooth.

General manager Gavin Boyle, 26, said: "We wanted to do something a bit cooler - a place where you can come get a sandwich on your lunch break and chill out on the beanbags.

"Our coffee is great too. We've had barista training, and we had Soave ice cream reps teach us how to make the perfect sundae... there's a real method to it."

Jellybear has already had a great response on social media websites Instagram and Facebook - and the staff have been rushed off their feet serving hungry customers.

After a roaring success on their first day, Jellybear management are beginning to set their sights across the rest of the city - with hopes to open shops in Aberdeen and Edinburgh in future.

But first they want to brew up success in their Ingram Street spot - with a blend of sweet treats and friendly customer service.

Gavin said: "I think the Jellybear brand is fantastic and we've got a unique concept compared to other cafes. "It's just a cool, relaxed environment for people to come and hang out."
