SHOPPERS can now indulge in a glass of fizz at a city mall.

Drinks chain, 360 Champagne and Cocktails, has opened its first Glasgow City Centre branch in Buchanan Galleries.

Mall bosses announced last year that the company had chosen its newest location.

The open-plan bar is based on the first floor and offers champagne, sparkling wines, and cocktails.

There is also tea, coffee and cupcakes.

Kathy Murdoch, centre manager, said the bar was a welcome addition.

She said: "Its glamorous look and indulgent but affordable menu creates the perfect offering for our shoppers."

The bar will be open until 7pm on Monday to Wednesday and until 8pm on Thursday.

The chain already operates a number of bars in shopping centres across the UK, including Braehead, Newcastle's Metrocentre and Lakeside in Essex.

Its first branch opened in the Trafford Centre, in Manchester, in 2011.

Craig Ince, managing director, said: "Buchanan Galleries is a fantastic location, and perfect to showcase a little bit of luxury to Glasgow shoppers at affordable prices.

"360 Champagne and Cocktails has gone from strength to strength throughout the UK. I can't think of a more exciting place for our first city centre location."
