CITY restaurant boss James Rusk has been appointed chairman of a city tourism organisation.
Mr Rusk will take over the post at Glasgow Welcomes, a tourism service initiative.
The organisation is designed to support the delivery of a world class visitor experience through customer service training and development opportunities for tourism and hospitality businesses.
Mr Rusk is the owner of the award-winning The Butchershop Bar & Grill steakhouse in the West End, recently launched Hutchesons steak and seafood house, in Ingram Street, and is vice chairman of Glasgow Restaurant Association.
He has 15 years' experience in the hospitality and catering industry.
