A butcher shop has released a new treat in time for Easter - a Scotch Egg Creme Egg.
The snack sold by Foston's Fine Meats in Duns features breaded, chilli flavoured sausage meat wrapped around a Cadbury's Creme Egg - and is around 1000 calories.
They told Berwickshire News: "It's just a case of experimenting and enjoying it.
"Now we're working on a similar kind of thing, a Mini Egg sausage."
This isn't the first time the culinary duo have pushed the boat out with their creations - they also made Irn Bru sausages, which they still believe is their wackiest idea.
Benjamin admitted there were some naysayers with regards to the Scotch Egg Creme Egg.
"My father, for instance, I showed him, and all he says to me when he sees it is, 'that's just wrong!'"
The creators, Greig Foston and Benjamin Webb, said their first batch sold out very quickly - though the dozens of schoolkids coming in for lunch still prefer their pies and sausage rolls.
