A taste of Mexico is coming to Glasgow on Friday - with the opening of a new restaurant, Chimichanga.
Twenty jobs are being created at the Tex-Mex restaurant, which is opening at Silverburn.
The restaurant has cost £600,000 to develop over the past 10 weeks.
Chimichanga will offer an extensive menu including classic favourites; burritos, tostadas, enchiladas, quesadilla's and fajitas, as well as an extensive grill section, featuring barbecue baby back ribs, flame grilled piri piri chicken and sirloin steak.
The restaurant has seating for 100 guests, including seating in the mall itself.
Chimichanga's design reflects the vibrancy of Mexico and its contemporary street culture by combining bright colours and traditional materials.
The restaurant features a combination of textiles, bright colours and geometric patterns. It also has an eclectic mix of furniture.
Chimichanga chief executive, Jonathan Kaye, said: "We are looking forward to opening Chimichanga and are confident that it will be a great addition to Silverburn.
"Tex-Mex food is more popular than ever and we're confident that people of all ages will enjoy the food and drink on offer."
Chimichanga will be open from 12 noon until 11pm throughout the week.
It will feature a children's menu.
