Hola! You don't have to travel all the way to Spain to enjoy the wonderful flavours and variety of tapas... Glasgow has some great places to eat this increasingly popular style of food. So feast your eyes on these tapas delights brought to you by Yelp Glasgow - and treat your tummy too!

Barca Tapas, Princes Square, Glasgow City Centre G1 3JX

If you've shopped till you're about to drop, then steer yourself to Barca, at the top of Princes Square. Gerald G recommends around five plates per person, or you can head in at lunchtime for a two-course deal for £9.95.

Boteco Do Brasil, 62 Trongate, Merchant City G1 5EP

'The atmosphere here is great, and the waiters are cute!' says Francesca R. Food is served until 10pm and then you can party the night away with live bands, salsa music or even a club night.

Brutti Compadres, 3 Virginia Court, Merchant City G1 1TS

John G raves about the garlic bread here and there's also a selection of small bite sandwiches known as 'brutti bread piccolo.' Tapas offerings include grilled sardines, albondigas as well as chipolatas wrapped in bacon - pigs in blankets!

Café Andaluz, 2 Cresswell Lane, Glasgow West End G12 8AA

'The goats cheese and Seville marmalade was an unexpected highlight and the cheesecake was a very generous serving' says John M. If you're thinking of going for dinner the pre-theatre menu offers three tapas dishes for £13.95 per person, up to 6.30pm.

Casa Ole, 1835 Paisley Road West, Glasgow South Side G52 3SX

Emma C was delighted with the selection being served up here including gambas gabardinas, morcilla and pinchos de atun. (That's prawns, sausage and tuna skewers to those who are less fluent in Spanish!) Well stocked with wine, this cosy place is the perfect place to nibble your night away.

La Bodega, 1120 South Street, Glasgow West End G14 0AP

The lunch offer is three tapas dishes for £9 and Greg C likes that there's also a dance school upstairs - 'you can see live performances while eating or drinking, and even dance with them.'

La Tasca, 39-43 Renfield Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 1JS

'The ambiance is really chilled out and relaxed,' says Raymond H - and later on in the night this place turns into a great venue to get your night out started. Here's a challenge for you - this place is doing unlimited tapas Monday to Wednesday between 12pm-8pm for £14.95.

Malaga Tapas, 215 St Andrews Road, Glasgow South Side G41 1PD

Ellie H says 'the best thing about this place is the jovial atmosphere'. She also says the tapas is delicious - dishes include Cordero en Salsa (lamb in white wine sauce), croquettes and paella.

Tinto Tapas Bar, 138 Battlefield Road, Glasgow South Side G42 9JT

Marco P shares a top tip - on a Tuesday night all tapas dishes are £2.50. The menu is huge and you won't have a problem finding something you'll like, whether it's morcilla (black pudding), tortilla Español or even a bowl of gazpacho.

Torres, 327 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 3HW

Francesca R loves that they do 'mini chicken paella' - 'this allows you to have a little sample while still leaving plenty of room for other stomach realty to move into!' Champi chorizo is sure to get your taste buds tingling - pan-fried mushrooms and chorizo.
