Banana Smoothie

Don’t bin those speckled bananas in the fruit bowl – use them up in this healthy smoothie by Chef Neil Forbes. Quick, easy and sweet.

Serves: 1

Prep Time: 5 mins

Ingredients:

1 banana

300ml milk

25ml syrup or honey (optional)

Method:

1. Loosely break up a speckled banana into a large jug or blender.

2. Add 300ml milk.

3. Simply blend using a hand mixer or blender, pour into a glass and enjoy.

4. OPTIONAL: Add honey, maple or agave syrup for a sweet twist.

Use Up: Bananas, milk

Nutrition Information: Suitable for vegetarians. If sensitive to lactose, swap for a lactose-free milk.
