THERE were a few stars who could cause this length of queue for tickets at the Apollo in Glasgow.
In 1977, these Desperado fans were finding that Life in the Fast Lane wasn't as quick as they'd hoped as, replete in their flared jeans, they waited to buy the precious briefs to see supergroup The Eagles.
Perhaps instead of wondering How Long, they were all happy to Take it Easy and imagine they were outside Hotel California.
Nowadays, buying tickets means queuing up online rather than outside the venue - which is fine on a cold, wet day, but gives no chance to make new friends during some banter with fellow fans.
But nothing stays the same - the burger shop pictured is on the site of the main entrance to the UGC cinema.
