Cartoon capers...

Make your own comics and cartoon characters inspired by the Riverside Museum at Cartoon Capers workshops on on the May 2 and 4. They run from 11am until 12.30 and from 1.30 to 3pm, and admission is free. Call 0141 287 2743 for more information.

Inflatable fun...

The amazing Inflatable Fun City is at Victoria Park from May 2 to 4, 12pm to 6pm.

Unlimited bouncing for £7.99 per day for kids (that includes the water walkers and boats) and adults go free. (The inflatables are all run on a timer which lasts seven minutes to give everyone a fair go, and then you can join the queue and start all over again.....)

Big, friendly ogre...

Shrek the Musical, based on the Dreamworks movie, is a monster of a show, complete with all-singing, all-dancing fairytale misfits and a very funny donkey. It's at the King's Theatre until May 17, call 0844 871 7648 for more details.

A grand day out...

Take granny and grandpa along to Scotland Street School's Grand Day Out on May 2, from 11am until 12.30pm and 2pm until 3.30pm. Admission is free and fun, traditional activities include learning how to make peg dollies. Call 0141 287 0504 for more information.
