Posh pedigree or loveable mix?
She's a good old-fashioned moggy
Felix, any time, any day, any flavour.
What does your pet like to do?
Rosie loves to sleep - a lot. Her favourite spots are on her cushion in the corner of the sofa and on the window ledge in the kitchen, soaking up the sun. She's a really chatty cat and pads about the flat dispensing cat wisdom, gossiping about the neighbours and keeping my husband right when he's not filling up her bowl fast enough at tea time. She's also an expert in pneumatic purring. She recently had an operation to treat hyperthyroidism and is doing a first-class job of putting back on some of the weight she lost. Go girl!
What's the funniest thing your pet has ever done?
What kind of cat do you take her for? She's a classy ginger lady and wouldn't dare do anything embarrassing. (Sorry, did I not make it clear she's the boss in our home?) Though she does like a combined back rub and belly rub and often gets so carried away she falls off my knee. She can't control the urge to trample all over a newspaper, especially if I'm trying to read it, then sits on top of it with a butter-wouldn't-melt look on her face. She also has a repertoire of sleeping poses, every one cuter than the next.
What made you choose your pet?
I found Rosie - along with her brother Alfie - at the Scottish SPCA rescue centre at Cardonald, Glasgow. I was looking for one cat, they came together and it was love at first sight.
